Explore a fascinating collection of 1001 Remarkable Objects, which showcases a unique blend of items from different eras and memories. You can embark on a journey through 25 rooms, where you’ll find objects that have never been displayed before, alongside beloved Powerhouse Collection treasures.

Some of the extraordinary objects that you’ll discover include the sole surviving fragment of the Lockheed Altair aircraft Lady Southern Cross, which was flown by the legendary aviator Sir Charles Kingsford Smith during his final flight in 1935. You’ll also see a section of the original Transatlantic cable from 1858, a mousetrap-making machine that was created in Sydney, an Edo period samurai warrior’s suit of armor, a 1.5-meter-tall Mintons ceramic peacock from the 1870s, and a Detroit Electric car that was manufactured in 1917.
