Join Local First Nations Curator, Dani Gorogo for a discussion on her curation of the exhibition ‘From the Collection’.

Northern Rivers based first nations artist and curator Dani Gorogo has been invited to develop an exhibition of artworks from the Gallery Collection.

Dani is a woman of Dunghutti, Bundjalung, Gumbayngirr and Papua New Guinean descent whose multi-faceted cultural heritage has informed her practice over the last thirty years.

Dani’s connection to land and culture, and her understanding of the region has guided her nuanced and thoughtful approach to interpreting the collection.
