Australian Army Band Newcastle – Newcastle Music Festival

Australian Army Band Newcastle, in their Festival debut, perform brass band favourites in a relaxed free family concert. With only a short break from service after World War Two , the Australian Army Band Newcastle has existed as the Military Band of Newcastle and the Hunter region of New South Wales since 1861.

The band members are drawn from the local community who, in addition to their civilian vocations, are talented musicians employed on a part-time basis by the Australian Army.
