Barbecue at The Criterion Theatre

Enjoy a theatre production again in support of the 2021 Jacaranda Queen Candidates.

Barbecue is a play about many things, including the Australian cultural ritual, the ‘barbie’. The play centres on a family who unexpectedly find themselves financially well off, and over from their working-class suburb to an up-market suburb.
Implications of a ‘class-based’ society in Australia and societal pressure for change and conformity are explored in a mostly humorous way.

Books your tickets to see ‘Barbecue’ at The Criterion Theatre starring local favourites Jimm Woodley, William North and Kim Mcbeath.

Make sure to book your grazing box by ‘Let’z Graze’ as $10 from each order will go to the Queen Candidates fundraising.
