Bill Leak Exhibition
The National Cartoon Gallery invites you to discover the wittiest set of cartoons you’ll ever see, featuring works from the late Bill Leak, ‘master of non-politically correct satire’ and his son Johannes Leak, current Cartoonist for The Australian. This fantastic collection of cartoons and caricatures cover the political and social life of Australia over the past 30 years. In Bill’s words “Freedom of speech is the freedom to offend and that means the freedom to offend anyone.’ A challenging and brave sentiment bound to evoke a broad response.
By popular demand this exhibition has been extended to run until 7 November 2021.
