Friday Morning Pottery – Clay Workshop for Adults
Intro to the pottery wheel and hand-building classes- great for adult beginners.
Participants will learn how to throw clay, centering, opening, pulling up to create a cylinder.
From there you will learn to create a mug, bowl, vase and plate.
You will also learn hand-building techniques including slab construction, coil and pinch.
Max 2 med pieces will be completed, includes clear glaze and fired twice. A glazing day will be offered at the end of the term if you’d like to add a colourful touch to your creations.
Pottery will be able to collect within 4 weeks of the term.
