Grafton July Racing Carnival
The Clarence River Jockey Club, located in the picturesque jacaranda tree-lined city of Grafton on the NSW North Coast, is home to the richest non-metropolitan carnival in Australia, the famous Grafton July Racing Carnival.
The Clarence River Jockey Club at Grafton was founded in the same year the first Melbourne Cup was held and only one year after the AJC opened its racecourse at Randwick. It has grown to become one of Australia’s most important country race clubs and the host of one of the major annual race carnivals outside the metropolitan areas.
Come to Grafton in July to experience one of the greatest country racedays, enjoy the atmosphere and back a winner.
