The Lismore Friendship Festival is moving to a new venue with a new name. The fifth event, LisAmore! will be an authentic, family-friendly event in the heart of Lismore’s Italian community – The Italo Club. The festivities centre around the positive contribution Italian settlers made to the region whilst strengthening Lismore’s friendly relationship with Conegliano and Vittorio Veneto in Italy that started in 1991.
The festival is growing in reputation both locally and outside the region. Held in and on the grounds of the Italo Club in North Lismore the area will come to life with the sounds of Italian music by Domenico and the Latin Mafia whilst the dance floor will provide a place where everyone can join in. The outdoor riverside location is filled with music, food, wine and diverse activities with a distinctive Italian twist.
Dress up in the Italian colours of the flag (green, white and red), learn how to dance the Tarantella or a few words in Italian, savour the delights of Italian fare and meet up with family and friends. Come celebrate the Italian National Day.
