Newcastle Music Festival is an annual music festival held in Newcastle in August. Brilliant locals and inspiring guests from around the world feature in classical, jazz and world music concerts. In 2021 we welcome special guests Grace Knight and Deborah Humble, and many other wonderful performers.

Art galleries, the Christ Church Cathedral, and other great local venues make for intriguing and beautiful venues.

You will be able to enjoy stunning performances of wonderful music (with a world premiere or two), and visit the scenic harbour, experience the great café lifestyle and visit the vineyards of Pokolbin and the Hunter. And you may even spot a migrating whale from the headlands near the city!
